We're so sorry for your loss, Laurie and family. It was a lovely Tribute Video.
To us, Steve was an upstanding guy, hard worker, with commonsense, dedicated not only to his family and friends but to our community as a whole. Additionally, for us, especially, we really appreciated all of his help every Spring at the West Portal Historical Society, for his delivering and wrestling those mulch bags and flowers so we could beautify the Old Meeting House.
Again, he was a true asset to our community, Township Committee -- and our lives!. Thank you, Steve.
He will be missed.
Warm regards,
Daryl et. al, WPHS

I served on the Bethlehem Township Committee from 2016 through 2021 and can gladly attest to the honesty, decency and the great big heart that Steve always displayed. He stood up against what was wrong and stood fast for what was right and was loved and respected by all of the decent members of our community. He always volunteered to help our residents and to work for the betterment of our community. The good and honest work that were were able to accomplish during that time could not have been done without Steve's commitment, regardless of whatever hardships came his way for doing so. He was one tough man.
Bethlehem Township will always owe Steve Keefe a great debt for his work, his commitment, and his caring. Be Thou at Peace!
